Mark Hartmann waxed hot early on as the Philippine Azkals beat Papua New Guinea, 5-0, in a FIFA friendly at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila City.
Hartmann, Global's scorer, hit a hat trick just 19 minutes to the game and sealed the win with another goal just before halftime.
Loyola's Phil Younghusband was the other Azkal on the board as he found the net in the 41st minute.
The Azkals will go to Qatar later in the month as part of their preparations for the AFF Suzuki Cup.
