PFF, Biñan sign MOU for new home of Malditas

BIÑAN--The City of Biñan is now a home to another sport.

After hosting games in basketball and volleyball, Biñan will now cater to the beautiful game of football as the Philippine Football Federation signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the local government on Wednesday.

Ernie Nierras, the head coach of the national women's team or the Malditas, witnessed the MOU signing between PFF president Mariano Araneta and Biñan vice mayor Walfredo Dimaguila, and they toured on the stadium.

In the MOU, the Malditas will have the Biñan Football Stadium as their home for the next four years as well as the various national youth teams of the PFF.

Located near the city hall, it will seat 2,580 spectators, which will be increased to five thousand by next year.
