MANILA--At the heels of Coach Aldin Ayo's impending transfer from Letran to La Salle, Mapua mentor Atoy Co revealed that his beanpole, reigning NCAA rookie MVP Allwell Oraeme, is the apple of the eye of two UAAP teams.

"Inaaswang nila," Co described how the said squads, which he labelled as "high-profile", are persuading the 6-9 center to join them as per the PBA legend's Facebook post on Thursday night.

The Philippine basketball's "Fortune Cookie" then ranted at the said UAAP schools, which he kept in anonymity, saying, “Mga walang delicadeza...after 3 yrs [na] pinagtyagaan mo turuan at gumaling tapos ngayon o-offer-an nila ng pera para maglaro sa kanila. Ganon ba ang sportsmanship? Bakit hindi sila kumuha at turuan para gumaling? Hindi [yung]...sila ang makikinabang kasi ang dami nilang pera. Anong moral values ang meron sila?”

Oraeme became vital in the Cardinals' run to the NCAA Final Four, averaging 16.3 points, 20.3 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks a game this past season, earning him both the Rookie of the Year and the Most Valuable Player plums, the third player in league history to do so.

With team captain Josan Nimes already with PBA's Rain Or Shine, Oraeme is expected to lead the charge for Mapua in the PCCL this December.
