MANILA--Mapua fans just got a sigh of relief.

Reigning NCAA MVP Allwell Oraeme signified his intention on not leaving the Cardinals.

In a tweet on Friday, Oraeme, who just celebrated his 20th birthday, just gave the Mapua community a belated birthday gift from him by saying he wants to stay with the men's basketball team.

"I have not entertained other schools. My heart is here with Mapua. Viva," Oraeme said.
The said announcement came at the height of a revelation from his coach, Atoy Co, that two UAAP schools look to bring the 6-9 beanpole to their midst.
