MANILA--Blessings could keep on coming for Rio Olympics silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz.

Diaz, who nabbed the medal in the women's 53-kilogram weightlifting event, ending a 20-year drought for the Filipinos, will be welcomed back home with a lot of incentives as revealed by PSC chairman Butch Ramirez.

Aside from the PHP5 million that she will get as part of a newly-amended law for Olympic medalists, Ramirez said that Diaz will also get a house and lot from 8990 Deca Homes.

Also, Ramirez said the PSC is now working with Malacañang for Diaz's courtesy call with President Rodrigo Duterte.

Diaz became the first Filipina to win an Olympic medal after besting even event favorite Li Yajun for the second spot on Monday.
