MANILA--The end has come for the "Extra Rice Inc."

The burly big man tandem of Beau Belga and JR QuiƱahan was broken up on Thursday after Rain Or Shine sent the latter to GlobalPort for Jay Washington in the reigning Commissioner's Cup champion's first transfer window move following the departure of Coach Yeng Guiao.

In the trade approved by PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa, QuiƱahan will leave the Elasto Painters to provide more frontline depth for the Batang Pier.

Washington, on the other hand, found him rejoining the team where his Philippine basketball career actually began.

Washington once played for the Welcoat franchise in 2004, when it was still in the PBL.
