MANILA--The spectacular point guard and former FEU tamaraw RR Garcia usually takes a lot of shots in his previous stints with GlobalPort, Barako and Star.

But with his arrival on the guard-populated SMB lineup, he seems to be doing well being in a superstar-studded team and in a crowdy rotation.

The 5'11 playmaker has scored 13 points in his third game as a Beermen in their 2017 PBA Philippine Cup against his current team's rival Alaska. His scoring tonight is the highest since being traded from Star.

Coach Leo Austria applauded his effort on his media interview after the game.

Garcia already accepted his new role shortly before being traded a month ago. "Expected ko na bababa numbers ko kasi nga SMB yan pero gagawin ko parin best ko.", Garcia previously said.

But is Garcia comfortable playing in the shadows of Alex Cabagnot and Chris Ross?

Well, no one knows his answer but we're pretty sure that Garcia, a PBA All-Star, will try his best to produce more for the team and will compete for more spotlight.
