MANILA--Randy Orton became a two-time winner of the WWE Royal Rumble in the 2017 edition of the said battle royale at the Alamodome in San Antonio on Monday (Philippine Time).

Coming in at number 23, the 2009 winner quickly made his presence felt by performing his signature finisher RKO to Baron Corbin, Rusev, and Sami Zayn.

Eventually, Orton ended up as the last man standing after delivering his finisher to last entrant Roman Reigns and eventually sending him out of the ring following the latter's elimination of Orton's Wyatt Family stablemate Bray Wyatt.

Reigns had a great moment earlier in the match after eliminating The Undertaker that capped a series of epic ousters.

The Undertaker earlier eliminated Goldberg, who on the other hand took out Brock Lesnar to add fuel to their storyline feud.

Orton, with the win, earned a Wrestlemania shot at any of the two WWE titles at hand, which could likely be the WWE World Title since he is part of the Smackdown roster.

John Cena became the new owner of the said belt after beating AJ Styles in a heated co-main event.

In a match that saw both wrestlers exchanging finishers multiple times, Cena performed two Attitude Adjustments on Styles before the three-count to become a 16-time champ.

On the other hand, Reigns lost to Kevin Owens as the latter defended his WWE Universal title following an intrusion by Braun Strowman in the no disqualification contest.
