MANILA--Shinya Aoki is coming back!

The Japanese fighter will make a return to the One Championship stage for the first time since relinquishing his lightweight title to Eduard Folayang at One: Dynasty of Heroes on May 26 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

This time around, Aoki will take on American jiujitsu champ Garry Tonon in a special "grappling super fight" as an appetizer to the main event pitting Angela Lee and Istela Nunes.

"The Aoki-Tonon Grappling Super Match is certainly a matchup that fans will not want to miss," said One CEO Victor Cui.
