In landmark partnership, Tanduay becomes sponsor of Brooklyn Nets

MANILA—Tanduay Rhum Philippines is now a proud partner of Barclays Center and the NBA team Brooklyn Nets.

The said partnership was announced through a press release on Wednesday (Philippine Time).

Tanduay will also be the official rhum of the arena and the team on their team functions and events.

The partnership will officially start during an after game party on Monday (Philippine Time) at Barclay Center’s 40/40 Club and Restaurant.

The Nets will host the New York Knicks in the said match.

Tanduay president Lucio Tan Jr. said that their company is very proud of this new partnership and deemed it as first and one of a kind for a Filipino company.

He also said that they are looking forward to build a lasting relationship between the two organization and create a great legacy.

On the other hand, Brett Yomark, CEO of Barclays Sports and Entertainment, sees the partnership as beneficial specially for Tanduay.

“Partnering with Tanduay is a valuable opportunity to welcome an emerging international business into our arena that will enhance the overall experience of our fans,” said Yomark.
