MANILA- After being picked up by Meralco in the UFAWR2S list of San Miguel, Chris Lutz is slowly signaling a Meralco debut after he is reportedly on his way to recovery. The one-time PBA All-Star was finally able to join his squad's pre-game preperations since his entry to the team.

Although, the swingman is still prohibited in doing full practice exercises while participating in the team's practice sessions.

"We have yet to allow him to join even on shooting drills,” Black said.

Lutz has been injury-plagued since his previous seasons with San Miguel Beermen. He missed every game commitments since the 2016 PBA Commissioner's Cup. He even took surgery for his injury abroad adressing his hip problems.

The Bolts didn't want to give up on Lutz but they still expect him to suit up until after two conferences.

After a finals stint in the two conferences ago, the Bolts wants to regain dominance with the likes of Chris Newsome, Reynel Hugnatan and their newly-found import Alex Stephenson.
