MANILA--The Utah Jazz made Los Angeles Clippers owner Steve Ballmer scratch his head as they pulled off a 97-95 win in Staples Center.

Despite lacking Rudy Gobert the rest of the way, the Jazz still managed to hold the lead until Chris Paul made a game-tying floater with barely ten seconds left in the game.

Gobert was sidelined due to a reported meniscus tear that he suffered on the first possession of the game. It was still unclear if he can still play for the series.

With the game tied on the dying moments, Joe Johnson crossed from coast-to-coast and drove against two defenders and eventually sinking a game-winning floater.

The playmaking superstar and offensive threat Chris Paul almost got a triple double with 25 points, 11 assists, and seven rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Clippers still have the homecourt advantage throughout the series,  The second game will still be at Staples as they try to tie the series at home.
