MANILA--Three straight nights of PBA action will commence over the weekend at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay as the league celebrates its 42nd anniversary.

TNT and NLEX clash in the first game of the Friday twinbill at 4:15 p.m. to be followed by the showdown between San Miguel and Phoenix at 7 p.m.

Another doubleheader will take place at the said venue beginning with a 3 p.m. showdown between winless squads Blackwater and GlobalPort followed by the 5:15 p.m. match-up between Meralco and Alaska.

The special weekend will culminate right on the PBA's foundation day on April 9, a Sunday, with the latest chapter of the "Manila Clasico" as the highlight of the night.

Ginebra and Star will meet for the first time since their grueling Philippine Cup semifinal series at 6:45 p.m., succeeding the 4:30 p.m. showdown between Mahindra and TNT.

The Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the place of the first PBA games on April 9, 1975, is not available for the said fixtures, particularly on Saturday as it will host the final day of the UAAP volleyball tournaments.
