MANILA—The PBA All-Star Week began with, of all means, a trade.

San Miguel and TNT swung a rare swap between them on Monday.

Commissioner Chito Narvasa approved a one-on-one deal that sent Matt Rosser to the Beermen and RR Garcia to the KaTropa.

This is the first time that both clubs consummated a trade since 2008.

Both players only logged in limited minutes for their former clubs in the ongoing Commissioner's Cup.

Rosser did not play for TNT on Sunday night and had to witness his club's second half meltdown against Ginebra from the bench.

Garcia did still play for SMB on Saturday night against Rain Or Shine, but he only checked in late in the fourth quarter, when SMB's win was all but a formality.

Both players will suit up for their new teams when regular season action resumes after the All-Star break.
