Rio dela Cruz and Dingdong Dantes gear up for the Runrio Trilogy series which will kick off in July.

MANILA--Celebrity running mentor Rio dela Cruz announced the seventh staging of the Runrio Trilogy on Friday in what can be considered as the most exciting ever.
At the media launch, the Runrio founder also launched the RUNRIO Events in which the Trilogy will be the first under it, kicking off with the Half-Marathon on June 25, backed by Okada Manila Hotel, Gatorade, and Adidas Philippines.
Also revealed that day was the campaign "Heart to Finish" in which it will the new runners' mantra for all the races held by RunRio.
"We understand that people join races not just to run. It's more because of their desire and passion to finish their races with different motivations. We believe that if you run with your heart, anything is possible," dela Cruz said.
The Trilogy gets more exciting with the fact that Dingdong Dantes comes along as its event ambassador for a cause, with part of the proceeds going to the YesPinoy Foundation in which he was the founding chair.
"We are excited to launch the RunRio Trilogy on it's seventh year, whose main objective is to train and race progressively," Dantes said.
