TAGUIG—UC showed how 3x3 Cebuano style is done.
The Webmasters stole the show in a pocket tournament that capped the Under Armour Southeast Asia 3x3 Tournament on Saturday at the Titan Love Court that would help the SBP in selecting the national squad that will play in the FIBA Asia U18 3x3 Cup in Malaysia on May 26-28.
The said pocket tournament had UC take on the top three teams of the Taguig leg while the SBP and tournament commissioner Joe Lipa assess the individual performance of the players to find which quartet will make the best fit.
The Cebu leg survivor came from behind and defeated Bounty B, the winner of the Taguig leg earlier Saturday, 15-13, in the battle of champs.
UC later stunned Bounty A in overtime, 21-20, in the final.
Bounty B settled for third after downing Escuela De Sophia, 21-12, in the repêchage.
The "Final 4" for the regional tournament will be revealed at a later date.
