BIÑAN—Ginebra formally shut the door on Blackwater's PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinal bid with a 96-82 win at the Alonte Sports Arena on Friday night.
The Barangay broke the game wide open in the last 8:47 of the game to score an all-important win.
Justin Brownlee led the way for Ginebra, which moved to second place at 7-2 with two games left in its elimination round campaign, with 35 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block.
Greg Smith came a board shy of a 20-20 with 37 markers and 19 caroms with five dimes and two steals for Blackwater, which slipped to 2-8.
