Malaysia stays unbeaten in SEABA U16, blasts Singapore

QUEZON CITY—Malaysia trounced Singapore, 77-56, to stay unscathed in the SEABA U16 Championship at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday.

John Tang led the way for the Malaysians, who led all game long, with 19 points and five rebounds, while Teoh Yi Kang added 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and one steal.

No Singaporean hit double figures with Bryan Teo leading the way with only nine markers.

Malaysia now takes sole possession of the top spot at 3-0 ahead of its potential championship showdown against Batang Gilas on Thursday. Malaysia will take the Wednesday off, while Batang Gilas will return to action on the said day.
