BIÑAN—Inclement weather forced both Stallion Laguna and Ilocos United to not push through with their supposed PFL match at the Biñan Football Stadium on Saturday.
Laguna's marketing and media head, Jojo Lirio, confirmed to Dugout Philippines the development just less than an hour before their scheduled 4 p.m. kickoff.
"Match was cancelled at around 2:45 p.m.," Lirio bared the time both sides agreed on rescheduling the game that was supposed to be held on closed doors. He would post the announcement on Laguna's Facebook page.
As of PAGASA's 1:10 p.m. bulletin, most of the province of Laguna experienced thunderstorms that lasted for two hours.
