SAN JUAN, MM—San Beda notched the first seat in the FilOil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup Final after downing JRU, 80-64, in their knockout semifinal at the FilOil Flying V Centre on Friday.
The Red Lions surged ahead late in the third quarter and never let the Heavy Bombers get back to the game.
Robert Bolick led San Beda, which is now 10-0 overall in the tournament, with 22 points, three rebounds, six assists, and one block, while Arnaud Noah added 16 points, six rebounds, and one steal.
Ervin Grospe led JRU with 17 points, five rebounds, and one assist in a game where its top offensive option, Teytey Teodoro, was limited to only nine points.
