Zark's finally nails win, blasts AMA

MANILA--Zark's finally notched its first win in the PBA D-League after mauling AMA, 109-91, in their Foundation Cup meeting at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Monday.

The Jawbreakers blasted the Titans offensively in the second and the fourth periods, scoring 32 and 36 points respectively in the said quarters that helped them take over the match.

James Mangahas collected 26 points, 14 rebounds, two assists, and one block, while Robby Celiz added 25 points, seven rebounds, four assists,and one steal for Zark's, which snapped a three-game skid.

Ivan Villanueva fired 29 markers, 15 rebounds, one assist, and one block for AMA, which fell to 0-3.

Embons Bonleon added 20 points, but he only made nine of 26 shots. He did accomplish his own double-double with 15 boards alongside two assists and one steal.

Andre Paras came close to his own double-double after amassing 22 rebounds and seven points with three blocks, but he too struggled from the field, converting only 3-of-11 attempts.
