MANILA--It's legit!

Milwaukee's rising star Giannis Antetokounmpo will visit the Philippines and will meet his fans on July 23 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati.

The said event, named "The 'Greek Freak' Invades Manila", was subject to speculations during the past few days, but the new King Buck himself confirmed through a video that he is indeed set to go to the Philippines.

Joining the recently-crowned NBA Most Improved Player are PBA stars Gabe Norwood and Ranidel De Ocampo, PBA D-League player Thomas Torres, and college players Vince Tolentino and Marco Sario.

The confirmation of Antetokounmpo's Philippine event on the said date means that two NBA players will be in town on that said weekend as Oklahoma City center Steven Adams will be the special guest in a 3x3 event organized by NBA Philippines.
