MANILA—Wang's put up a late second half barrage to pounce AMA, 110-85, in their PBA D-League Foundation Cup meeting at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday.
The Couriers started the game strong, opening a 30-11 lead after the first period.
But the Titans, behind the hot hands of Renzo Subido, came to within six, 46-52, with 7:46 to go in the third period.
Wang's recovered in time and blew out AMA from there, stretching the lead to as high as 29, 98-69, with 3:47 to go in the game.
Robbie Herndon led the Couriers, who moved up to 5-3, with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists.
Subido came up with 35 markers, but it went down the drain as the Titans fell to 1-6.
