QUEZON CITY--Allen Durham could just be a formality away from taking home a second consecutive PBA Governors' Cup Best Import award.

The Meralco reinforcement simply dominated the stats race as he is way ahead of Ginebra counterpart Justin Brownlee, the only other import with a legit shot at the said plum.

Durham garnered an average of 58.9 statistical points per game through the semifinals, way ahead of the other imports in the Top 5, whose respective clubs were already shown the door.

Phoenix's Brandon Brown was second with 54.5 average SP's closely followed by Blackwater's Henry Walker with 54.1, GlobalPort's Murphey Holloway with 53.2, and NLEX's Aaron Fuller with 49.5

Brownlee is only in sixth place with 48.9 average SP's, but he can move up the rank if he gets the nod of the media, the players, and the Commissioner's office.

The league will award the Best Import award before Game 2 of the championship series between the Bolts and the Barangay on Sunday night.
