TAGUIG—The Philippines' top DOTA 2 team will headline the first e-sports tournament of 2018.
TNC gained a direct invite to Galaxy Battles 2 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue from Jan. 15-21.
The announcement was made during the media launch at the Samsung Hall of SM Aura on Friday.
TNC formally accepted the invite by attending the launch in full force.

The said development assured that the host country will be represented in weeklong event where US$1 million (PHP51 million) is at stake.
The number of Filipino clubs can increase depending on the results of the New Blood Championships, where two slots to the tournament proper is on the line, and the SEA Qualifier, where another Southeast Asian team can enter.
