MANILA--Some fans may have had reservations on Gina Iniong's win over Mei Yamaguchi at PXC 43 in 2014 especially that it ended in a split decision.

Ahead of their rematch on Friday, however, the latest Team Lakay pugilist to join One Championship wants to put their second meeting beyond doubt this time.

"I will try to finish my fight in with a first-round knockout or submission," said Iniong.

Iniong, who a week and a half ago shut down Prescilla Lumbangaol via a second round knockout at One: Legends of the World at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, was called up as the new opponent of Yamaguchi at One: Immortal Pursuit at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore following the road accident involving reigning women's champion Angela Lee that made her unavailable.

Speaking of Lee, Iniong looks to her belt as motivation for the anticipated rematch.

"That is my ultimate motivation--to become world champion," Iniong continued. "I have my eye on the champion, and I want that belt. This is an opportunity to put me closer to my dream. I am giving everything that I have to get my hand raised this Friday."
