MANILA -- After weeks of speculation, it can now be said that Rodil Boy Sablan, the embattled head coach of the UST Growling Tigers is on his way out.

As first reported by ABS-CBN Sports, multiple sources within the Tigers' lair have confimed to Dugout Philippines that indeed Sablan, as well as his coaching staff have been handed their walking papers by university officials.

Sablan, who has been called numerous times since last season by both alumni and students of the university to resign from his post, has compiled a 4-24 win-loss record during his term at the helm of UST, also posting the two worst finished for UST since the final four era with a 3-11 slate during Season 79 of the league and a 1-13 record in the ongoing UAAP basketball season.
