PASAY--Jomary Torres scored her third straight win at One Championship--and fourth straight in as many matches overall--after beating fellow Filipina April Osenio at One: Global Superheroes at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night.
Torres made a quick turnaround after Osenio went off to a good start and made a decisive ground-and-pound action to call it a fight in just 40 seconds.
Osenio quickly put Torres on the ground and even came close to scoring an armbar submission.
But Torres countered with a takedown of her own--with her arm still being held tightly--that set her up for the finishing strikes for the knockout victory.
