PASIG--With Troy Rosario still recovering from a bad fall he had last week, the possibility of him getting lined up for Gilas' FIBA World Cup February window has gone bleaker as the games draw near.

It led to a probability of Calvin Abueva making the final lineup, especially when he made a return to the national team practice after three straight absences that forced Coach Chot Reyes to cut him from the pool.
The speculations further rose when it was reported on Tuesday that Abueva was already included to the "Final 12" for the Feb. 22 game at Australia.

Reyes, however, made a clarification about the report.

"We're not yet in a position to make any final decision," Reyes said after the Gilas practice at the Meralco Gym hours after the report surfaced.

He further clarified, "He's still part of the pool just like everybody else here. He continues to come in practice. I've always said that people can play themselves into consideration into consideration into and out of the pool or out of consideration, and there's no change there."

Reyes then said that the injury bug will play a role on who will make the final cut.

"We're still assessing all the injury status of the other guys," he continued.

Rosario, who had a bad fall in TNT's game against Phoenix last week, actually suited up in the Gilas practice on Tuesday night.

Reyes then told the fans who keep on speculating who will be included in the final lineup, "Huwag tayong excited."
