MPBL: Davao Occidental mounts winning run with 64-point beating of Imus

BINAN--Davao Occidental put on a masterclass against Imus and romped them by 64 points, 132-68, in their MPBL showdown on Friday night at the Alonte Sports Arena.

The Tigers quickly pulled away from the Agimat, opening a 30-13 lead in the first quarter before scoring 40 points in the second to take a 70-34 halftime lead.

Davao Occidental exactly breached the 100-point mark at the end of the third quarter and finished the wire-to-wire game with their largest lead at 64.

Biboy Enguio and James Martinez each scored 22 points for the Tigers, who now won back-to-back games after a stinging loss to Pasay in their MPBL return game.

JR Sumido's 34-point blast went down the drain as the Agimat dropped to 0-4.

Kenneth Estabillo had 11 points and 13 rebounds.
