MANILA--AP.Bren retains their core players from MPL Philippines Season 11 while adding a new face to kickstart their Season 12 campaign as they unveil their new roster last Aug. 7.
The Bees introduced their Season 12 squad with a cinematic skit that takes the entire team to a certain location to meet their new teammate and a cameo from AP Esports owner AJ Ponce.
AP.Bren keeps the services of captain Angelo Kyle "Pheww" Arcangel, Michael Angelo "KyleTzy" Sayson, Marco Stephen "Super Marco" Requitano, David Charles "FlapTzy" Canon, Rowgien Stimpson "Owgwen" Unigo, and Vincent "Pando" Unigo, who changed his IGN from "Pandora."
The team welcomes new addition Jan Patrick "Mumukid" Dagdag as their midlaner, who previously came from the ranks of Amihan Cosmic and AP Esports.
Francis "Duckeyyy" Glindro and Vrendon "Vrendon Lin" Pesebre keeps their posts as the squad's coaches for the season.
Bren enjoyed a rather successful first half of 2023, with them enjoying a Southeast Asian Games gold medal as the backbone of Team SIBOL in Cambodia, as well as getting the first place in the Asia-Oceania qualifiers of the IESF World Esports Championship.
However, the tandem of Bren and AP Esports will try to aim higher in the local pro scene as they went first seed in the MPL PH Season 11 playoffs with an 11-3 record, only to lose to both Blacklist International and ECHO to finish the season in fourth.
