MAKATI - RSG Philippines needs three games to inch closer to the upper bracket spot as they snatch the victory against league leaders AP.Bren, Saturday, in Week 6 Day 2 of the MPL Philippines Season 13.

It was a statement win for the Raiders, who have turned the tables after the Bees swept them last March 23.

The defending champions needed a mid-game turnaround in Game 1 as RSG lost three members during the first lord dance, prompting Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson to grab the lord and take the lead.

From there, it was all AP.Bren as Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano led the charge to a Game 1 win, with his Claude registering a 4/1/6 KDA.

RSG PH came back to their senses and drubbed AP.Bren in Game 2, 13 kills to just four, with Clarense "Kousei" Camilo's Harith leading the way with three kills and three assists.

Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto's Fredrinn also had a great game with a 4/0/4 KDA in 11 minutes of game time, getting all but one turtle during the first eight minutes.

The Raiders needed a late fightback in the third game, with Demonkite's Baxia checking KyleTzy's Nolan in the 18th minute, prompting a full five-man team fight that saw the Bees' jungler down the count.

From there, RSG did not look back as they chased AP.Bren to their demise inside the base, getting the win a minute later.

The Raiders will try to continue their momentum against TNC Pro Team tomorrow, while AP.Bren will see Smart Omega in a crucial matchup the same day.
