MANDALUYONG—Jordan Heading and Brandon Rosser came alive for TNT as the team now holds a 3-1 lead in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals against Rain Or Shine with a 108-92 Game 4 win on Wednesday night at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
With RR Pogoy sitting out for the second straight game to recover from his hamstring injury, Heading and Rosser came to the rescue for the Tropang 5G as they led their team's second-half breakaway from the Elasto Painters, who were on pace for the equalizer behind a vintage game from Gabe Norwood.
Heading finished with 23 points on 8-of-12 shooting including 3-of-6 from three-point range, five rebounds, six assists, one steal, and one block for TNT, which can close out the best-of-seven series on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Rosser added 22 points, 11 rebounds, and one block.
Norwood ended up with 18 points, nine rebounds, one assist, and one steal for ROS, which now needs to win three straight games to deny TNT the grand slam at the semifinal level.
