TAGUIG -- Alab Pilipinas top honcho Charlie Dy made its intentions in the upcoming ABL season loud and clear today here at the Fort.

With no one answering the question about who will be the biggest threat to Eastern's title defense this season, the former coach turned agent aptly said it in four words.

"I think it's us," Dy said, drawing an almost stunned response inside the Shangri-La's Bonifacio Hall, knowing that their season opener on November 19 will be against the former Long Lions at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Later on, he told Dugout Philippines that it's for real.

"I believe that we are stronger this year," Dy added, noting that they made a massive overhaul of the roster from the players down to the coaching start, with the appointment of Jimmy Alapag as the head coach being the start of it.
