The JRU Heavy Bombers dispatched the EAC Generals, 73-54, to strengthen their bid for a Final Four spot at the resumption of the NCAA games at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan City.
The Heavy Bombers opened the game with a 22-2 blitz and did not turn back against the slumping Generals.
Michael Mabulac had a double-double of 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Jaycee Asuncion made 14 markers for JRU, which moves up to 7-4.
Jerald Serrano and Jan Jamon each had 16 points for EAC, which drops to 3-8.
