The Altas moved up to solo fourth place at 10-6 after the NCAA ManCom head Paul Supan announced the cancellation of their supposed match against the EAC Generals after the latter forfeited it.
The Generals forfeited the game scheduled at 9:00 AM because only four players will be suiting up.
The lack of players stemmed from the suspensions given to nine EAC players following a brawl during their last game against Mapua.

The Generals actually had six players eligible, but Igee King and Cedric Happi are sidelined with injuries, leaving only Jozhua General, Ai Indin, Christ Mejos, and Jerald Serrano available.
NCAA rules state that a forfeiture can be declared if the team will not be able to field in five players in the game.
The Altas, on the other hand, opened a half-game lead over the JRU Heavy Bombers for the last Final Four slot with two games left.
The Altas also moved to within a half-game of the CSB Blazers for third place.
The forfeiture also eliminated the Letran Knights and the Lyceum Pirates from playoff contention.
The Pirates will face the San Sebastian Golden Stags in the lone seniors match of today's schedule at 3:00 PM.
