An American beauty queen will grace the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix starting on October 18... as a volleybelle.
Former Miss USA participant Alaina Bergsma will be among the list of international players who will bolster the teams in the import-laden conference of the PSL.
The 24-year-old opposite spiker represented Oregon in the 2012 edition of Miss USA.
Later in that year, the University of Oregon alumna, who played for the Ducks during her college days, became the AVCA Division I player of the year
The six-foot-three Bergsma also became part of Team USA the following year.
