NU Faces La Salle in UAAP Men's Badminton Finals

National University stakes its perfect record as it takes on La Salle in Game 1 of the UAAP Men's Badminton Finals at the Rizal Memorial Badminton Courts in Manila City.

Looking to win their second men's title in three years, the Bulldogs will battle the Green Archers at 9:00 AM with the Bulldogs owning a thrice-to-beat advantage after sweeping the elimination phase.

In their previous meeting, NU, led by Joper Escueta, swept La Salle, headed by Gerald Sibayan, two weeks ago.

Sibayan and his crew clinched the second finals berth after dethroning Ateneo in the stepladder semifinals last Sunday.

Later in the day, Ateneo and FEU will face off in the women's stepladder semifinals.

UP awaits the winner of the 1:00 PM tie in the women's finals with UP owning a thrice-to-beat edge after making a surprise 7-0 run in the eliminations.
