Coach Bo Perasol said that he will take note of UP's comeback bid against Ateneo after the latter just escaped with a 70-69 cliffhanger win in the UAAP.
"This is going to be a lesson for me," Perasol spoke to the media after the Ateneo win in which the team had to hold on to a slim one-point lead from as high as 15 at the very last second.
Perasol also said that he was not impressed on how his Blue Eagles got the victory. "I'm not happy on how we won," he said.
He added, "We didn't expect that they will get back against us."
While he took the win, Perasol, a former UP Fighting Maroon, also felt what his opponents felt after the painful loss. He said, "Malungkot ako [for UP]."
Perasol, on the other hand, expressed optimism on the Fighting Maroons for the future. "They're gonna improve in due time," he elaborated.
