Officially, the semifinal round of the UAAP men's basketball tournament will start on Wednesday, but technically, the FEU Tamaraws and the De La Salle Green Archers will begin their virtual best-of-three Final Four series tomorrow. Here's a breakdown of their semifinal affair.

History: The Green Archers and the Tamaraws also met in last year's Final Four with the Archers, guess what, sweeping a virtual best-of-three series! The so-called Green Rivalry actually had chapters about the UAAP semis since 2010.

What Now: It looks like the tides have changed for this one. The Tamaraws swept the Green Archers in their elimination round assignments, so one can say that the Tams are favored to win this Final Four affair.

Key Match-Up: Mac Belo vs. Jeron Teng-This could be a battle between swingmen in the individual category as Mac Belo and Jeron Teng will be expected to lead the charge for both teams. Belo, who came off the bench for most of Season 77, averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.5 assists this year. Teng, on the other hand, averaged 18.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, and four assists. Belo and Teng are second and third respectively in the MVP.

More Stats: This is a battle between offense and defense as FEU and La Salle are third in their respective main team categories after the eliminations. FEU scored 74.4 points a match, but La Salle only conceded 66.4 points a game. So whoever will flaunt their own style of play more will more likely win the series.
