UFL Cup finalists Loyola and Pachanga were drawn into Group A, while FA Charity Cup finalists Global and Kaya were bracketed in the other group of the UFL-FA League Cup, which will start on September 20.
In the live draw made in the Hans On video podcast on NMF, Loyola and Pachanga will headline the Division 1 club-loaded Group A along with newly promoted clubs Manila Jeepney and Ceres, Stallion, Green Archers, and Army.
On the other hand, Global and Kaya will be joined by Socceroo and Division 2 clubs Manila All-Japan, Forza, Laos, and Dolphins in Group B.
The top four teams from each group after the group stage will qualify for the quarterfinals. Another draw will be made to decide the match-ups.
The FA League Cup will kick off the revised UFL season calendar, which will see the league and the cup being played simultaneously.
