Another member of the Basketball Marathon team that clinched the world record for the longest basketball game played will grace the PBA.

The high-flying Sandy Ceñal will join Tanduay Light as the 68th pick, the second in the seventh round, of the PBA's developmental league draft held at the PBA office in Quezon City.

The RTU Blue Thunder player joined nine other draftees led by second overall pick Chris Newsome and former RP Youth Team member Kyles Lao as the new members of the Asia Brewery franchise formerly known as Boracay Rum.

Ceñal and 23 other basketball players, including eight of his RTU teammates, played for over 120 straight hours to break the world record for the longest hoops showdown ever played last March.

One of Ceñal's teammate in the world record attempt, Hazel Foja, earlier joined the PBA Draft, but he was never selected.

Despite the fatigue and the effects of short sleeping periods, he showed that he can endure them by even going for dunks in the said game.

He also played in the NBA 3X tournament last summer, where he and his fellow Blue Thunder players, made the final.
