A familiar face returns to the NLEX Road Warriors camp as second overall pick Kevin Alas was traded by the Rain Or Shine Elastopainters.
The six-foot combo guard makes a comeback to his PBA D-League team as the Road Warriors gave their 2015 first round pick to the Elastopainters in return.
The trade came at the heels of the re-signing of Rain Or Shine's star combo guard Paul Lee to a two-year max salary deal.
Alas was selected by the Elastopainters after Lee's future with them became bleak.
But through Head Coach Yeng Guiao, Lee finally settled his differences with the team management.
Meanwhile, Rain Or Shine continues to build for the future after acquiring NLEX's 2015 first rounder.
In an earlier trade, the Elastopainters nabbed two future second round choices for Larry Rodriguez.
