High school standout Kobe Paras made up his mind--he will join UCLA for the 2017 college basketball season.
The 6-6 high flyer formerly of La Salle Greenhills and currently of Cathedral High School made a commitment to the Bruins just two days after it was first reported that they reached out to him.
Compton Magic, the basketball training school that first reported the news about UCLA's inquiry, was the one which first broke out the news on Twitter.
An hour later, Paras himself confirmed it.
The Bruins made the Sweet Sixteen last season but got eliminated by the Florida Gators.
This season, the Steve Alford-coached UCLA team will banner prized rookie Kevon Looney.
