Serbia's Novi Sad turned back Canada's Saskatoon, 21-11, to win the FIBA 3x3 World Tour title in Sendai, Japan.

Dejan Majstorovic fired two deuces to lead Novi Sad, the runner-up in last year's edition in Istanbul, Turkey, with ten points.

Dusan Bulut, ranked number one in the world among 3x3 players by FIBA, added six markers.

Willie Murdaugh, who made headlines after scorching for eight two-balls in the Canadian team's opener against Trbovlje of Slovenia, only made four points as he and his teammates could not connect from long range.

Novi Sad won US$20,000 (around PHP880,000) for winning the championship.

To get to the final again, Novi Sad turned back Kranj of Slovenia in the semifinals.

Kranj punched a ticket in the Final Four after downing Manila West, composed of PBA players Terrence Romeo, KG Canaleta, Aldrech Ramos, and Rey Guevarra, in the quarterfinals.

The Philippine team finished fifth among ten teams in the final ranking.
