Former UFC fighter Brandon Vera said that his speed will give him an edge ahead of his One FC debut against Igor Subora at "Warrior's Way" on December 5 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

"My advantage is my speed. [Subora] is not real faster," Vera said in a one-on-one interview at the Discovery Suites in Pasig City.

Aware of the current URCC heavyweight champ's striking power, Vera, a former UFC heavyweight contender, vowed that he will enter the ring ready for the battle.

"He has heavy hands. He has put two people to sleep as I've seen, and he comes forward; he's not afraid. I'm gonna make sure that I will be well prepared for the match," Vera added.

He also looks forward to fighting the rest of the UFC heavyweights as he aims at winning the title.

He also revealed that he is considering to either stay in Manila or go to Baguio or Quezon for his training.

Vera's last word to Subora? "Get ready on December 5!"
