La Salle pulled away in the final quarter to fend off UV, 74-64, in the continuation of the PCCL Elite 8 playoffs at the Cebu City Coliseum.
The Green Archers built a 41-32 advantage in the third quarter that the Green Lancers chopped to just one, 52-51, at the end of the period.
La Salle, however, made a 19-3 run to start the fourth to up the lead to 17 with only three minutes left that help the team seal its second consecutive victory in the national semifinals.
