The Philippine Azkals booked a ticket to the AFF Suzuki Cup semifinals after beating Indonesia, 4-0, in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Phil Younghusband put the Azkals on the board in the 16th minute after scoring a penalty kick after Misagh Bahadoran got fouled inside the box.

The Azkals looked to extend the lead later in the first half, but they could not connect in their attacks.

Manny Ott finally lighted the scoreboard for the Azkals anew after blasting a volley just outside the box into the top left side of the goal in the 53rd minute.

Martin Steuble then took advantage of a defensive lapse by Indonesia after quickly scoring the Azkals' third goal while the defense was not yet established.

Indonesia's troubles continued after Rizki Pura was sent off following a dangerous foul on Younghusband.

Rob Gier sealed the full time tally after following up on a missed header and kicked the ball back in.

This is the Azkals' first victory over the Indonesians ever in head-to-head play.
