Barako Bull put a halt to Alaska's unbeaten streak in the PBA Philippine Cup after hacking out an 85-78 win at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
The Energy led by as much as 21, 54-33, in the third quarter of play.
But the Aces slowly crawled back and chopped the lead to as low as four, 75-71, in the fourth period.
But a 9-2 run later in the period sealed Barako Bull's upset of Alaska to improve to 2-5.
Dennis Miranda led the Bulls with 21 points on 8-of-10 shooting.
