Bulldogs bounce back against Cobras

NU bucked a slow start to down SWU, 83-68, in a battle of league champs in the PCCL national semifinals at the Cebu City Coliseum.

The CESAFI champions Cobras raced to a 33-16 lead against the UAAP holders Bulldogs in the first half of play.

But the Luzon team slowly crawled back and eventually tied the game, 56-all, after the third quarter.

NU then pulled away in the fourth, outscoring SWU, 27-12, to get back to winning form after getting stunned by SWU's fellow CESAFI competitor UV last night.

SWU, on the other hand, dropped its third straight game, getting eliminated from contention into the Premium Four.
